Earlier this week, Saudi's Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice announced a ban on selling cats and dogs as pets. Puppies in Dubai though, are easily finding new homes. A local pet store, Pets Habitat, provides a list of the 10 breeds which are the most wanted in Dubai. Most of the buyers are expatriates, and out of that 80 percent are from Europe, says the store. And the cute pups don't come cheap; all of them cost between Dh9, 000 and Dh10, 000. |
