The Zillion Dollar Frittata, the most expensive omelet in the world, is served at Norma’s at Le Parker Meridien hotel in New York City. This $1000 omelet consists of a whole lobster, six eggs and 10 ounces of Sevruga caviar, served on a bed of roasted potatoes. Every ounce of Sevruga caviar costs the restaurant $65.
In good humor, the owner of Norma is offering a “scaled down version” of The Zillion Dollar Frittata that will cost you $100 and that reads “Norma dares you to expense this” on the menu next to it.
“Since we knew it was going to be a very expensive dish, we decided to have some fun with it. It’s not just a gimmick, though. It tastes good,” said Norma’s General Manager.
