 The Burj Dubai, the world's tallest tower, is reportedly in the final stages of construction, and is all set to be opened in September this year. Engineers are completing the top spire that will determine the final height of the project, which has remained a secret so far.
Developed by Emaar Properties, Burj Dubai was designed by Chicago-based Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and constructed by Samsung Corporation of South Korea. It is the centerpiece of the $20 billion Downtown Burj Dubai project and will include residences, commercial spaces, and an Armani hotel.
