M&M’s

Appearance
M&M’s outer packaging is mainly brown, and slightly dull. The ‘M’ character pointing you to the logo is cute, but seems to be trying a bit too hard to look ‘cool.’ Also, once you open the packet, there’s no way of closing it again. However, the chocolates inside are way better. It boasts 6 colors- blue, yellow, dull red, green, orange and brown, and each of the chocolates has a white ‘m’.  Interestingly, the proportion of yellows and oranges was much lower (five of each) compared to blues (15) and browns (11). Why are they partial to the B’s?

Score: 6

Taste
Though small, the M&M’s are super chocolately, crunchy, and really tasty. A quick blind test around the office found that more people favored the taste of M&M’s. “It’s more satisfying,” said one of them.

Score: 8

Quantity
There were 55 tiny M&M’s in a 47.9 gram packet. Which is good, because a packet lasts longer, and you can pass them around to more people. But it’s bad for weight watchers, because each packet contains 235.5 kilo calories.

Score: 5

Cost
Each packet costs AED3.50, which we think is slightly overpriced considering that the chocolate is manufactured locally.
