UAE-based Dhabi Contracting was awarded a contract by Dubailand’s City of Arabia management to build the development’s low-rise buildings and community, according to a report in Construction Weekly. The contract will begin foundation work at the Wadi Walk site immediate, where prior work, including testing and excavation, has already has already been completed.
“With around 1,000 workers and 40 engineers on site for Mall of Arabia, we have now introduced approximately 500 more to build Wadi Walk,” said Sami Edwards, managing director of Dhabi Contracting.
“This contract agreement is a continuation of our relationship with the Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group, and we are all excited to see Wadi Walk come to life.”
