The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) is helping Yemen set up its first financial market, reports WAM, citing a senior Yemeni official.
Jalal Yaqoub, Undersecretary of Yemen’s Ministry of Finance said he met with Essa Kazim, executive chairman of DFM, in Dubai to discuss how Yemen could benefit from the DFM’s technical expertise.
“The Ministry of Finance is intending to launch the Yemen stock exchange by year-end,” he said.
