Qatar issued an income tax law on Tuesday that will go into effect next year, the official Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
“The Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued Tuesday law No. (21) of 2009 on the issuance of the income tax law. The law is to go into force as from the 1st of January 2010 and is to be published in the official gazette,” the agency said, without giving further details.
