Dubai Metro’s Red Line will be completed in February 2010, the chairman of the Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) said on Saturday. The remaining 19 stations are 80 to 97 percent complete, Mattar Al Tayer said.
The Red Line was launched in September 2009, however only 10 out of the line’s 29 stations were ready in time. Media reports suggested the line would not be completed before the end of 2010, but the RTA insisted construction on the stations will meet the authority’s February deadline.
