Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) is planning to introduce a “provisional licensing system” to issue temporary one-year licenses for drivers aged under 21 years, it said in a statement. However, only applicants aged 18, who pass a test, will be given the license. These drivers will also have to fix a poster on their cars and attend training after getting the provisional license.
The RTA said it submitted the proposal about the same to the Ministry of Interior for approval.
