The first batch of the H1N1 vaccine has arrived in the UAE, a Ministry of Health source informed Dubai-based daily Gulf News.

The first batch of the H1N1 vaccine has arrived in the UAE, a Ministry of Health source informed Dubai-based daily Gulf News.
The shipment, comprised of 40,000 units, is the first of a series expected in 2009. The nation ordered 900,000 units of the vaccine.
Distribution of the vaccines will begin shortly, the ministry told Arabic-language daily Emarat Al Youm. An unspecified number of units will be allocated to Haj pilgrims, the paper reported.
