The US court hearing for Kuwait-based logistics company Agility has been rescheduled for January 29, the company’s spokesperson told Reuters on Monday. In November last year, the firm was accused of overcharging the US Department of Defense on $8.5 billion worth of food contracts.
Agility said late last month that it was in negotiations with the US government to resolve the case out of the court. According to Reuters, if found guilty, Agility will face a fine of up to “twice the gain it realized or twice the loss to the US.”
