The organisers of the Abu Dhabi Media Summit have announced a list of high profile attendees to the three-day event, which starts on March 9.
Newly announced attendees include Barry Meyer, chairman and CEO at Warner Bros, and Khaldoon Khalifa al Mubarak, chairman of twofour54, Abu Dhabi’s media zone. Other attendees include: Mohammed Omran, chairman, Etisalat; Dirk Meyer, president & CEO, AMD; Hartmut Ostrowski, chairman and CEO, Bertelsmann AG; and Hans Vestberg President & CEO, Ericsson.
As previously announced, Rupert Murdoch, chairman and CEO of News Corporation, will give the keynote address at the event. Mohamed Khalaf al Mazrouei, chairman of the Abu Dhabi Media Company, will open the conference, which is held under the patronage of General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces.
The summit will be held at the Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi from March 9-11 2010.
