An Emirates Airline flight destined for Dubai was delayed by four hours in Mumbai yesterday due to a security alert.
Flight EK505 from Mumbai to Dubai was held up due to a passenger onboard possibly posing a “security threat”, according to an Emirates spokesperson.
A man and his wife were removed from the plane and handed over to Mumbai police for questioning, the airline said in a statement.
