UAE-based telecom operator Etisalat has said that it is planning to raise its stake in its Indian unit, Etisalat DB, from 44.7 percent to 50 percent, reports Reuters. The company also said that it had increased its stake in its African company Atlantique Telecom.
On Sunday, Etisalat announced that net revenues in 2009 reached AED30.83 billion, a 5 percent increase compared to the AED29.36 billion it made in 2008.
