Emirates Steel appoints UAE national as CEO

Emirates Steel has appointed Ghumran al Romaithi as its new chief executive, the largest steel producer in the United Arab Emirates said on Monday.

Emirates Steel has appointed Ghumran al Romaithi as its new chief executive, the largest steel producer in the United Arab Emirates said on Monday.
Romaithi has been promoted from vice president of operations as part of a strategy to place more emiratis in top positions, it said in a statement. He replaces Gregor Muenstermann.
