Gaddafi, “inner circle” could be investigated -ICC

The United Nations Security Council on Saturday imposed sanctions on Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and his family.

The International Criminal Court prosecutor said on Thursday Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and members of his inner circle could be investigated for alleged crimes committed against civilians by security forces.

The United Nations Security Council on Saturday imposed sanctions on Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and his family, and referred Libya’s crackdown on anti-government demonstrators to the International Criminal Court.
