Israel to ease Gaza blockade
A less restrictive list of prohibited items is expected to be published within the next few days.

Israel declared Sunday it is taking steps to ease the Gaza blockade, with plans to allow strictly “civilian” goods into the territory.
The Israeli prime minister said the blockade will prevent the entry of “weapons or war material” without specifying details, prompting concerns that critical items will remain banned.
Israel’s move to ease restrictions comes amid mounting international pressure to relax the four-year siege on Gaza’s 1.7 million Palestinians following the Freedom Flotilla massacre last month.
