Jordan’s inflation rate rises to 6.1 pct y/y in Dec

The Dec consumer price index (CPI) was up 1.2 percent due to rise in transport, fuel and some major food and consumer items.

Jordan’s inflation rate rose to 6.1 percent year-on-year in December compared to the same period last year, according to figures released by the Department of Statistics.

Compared with a month earlier, the Dec consumer price index (CPI) was up 1.2 percent due to rise in transport, fuel and some major food and consumer items.
