Ecclestone met Hans Olbertz, the general manager of Emirates Palace, when he chose the superbly grand Emirates Palace as a venue for exhibiting a collection of vintage cars.
Olbertz, who has over four decades of service in the hotel industry, before his appointment to Emirates Palace spent two years with the InterContinental Hotel Seoul, where he held a dual role as General Manager of the five-star property as well as Director of Operations for Korea.
