South African logistics company Berco Express has been fully acquired by originally Middle Eastern logistics company Aramex in December 2011. Aramex has been on a global expansion fast track as it also recently launched a joint-venture company with SinoAir in China and acquired OneWorld Courier and In-Time Courier in Kenya early in 2011. Aramex has shown continued interest in investing in countries across the African region.
