Okay so this one is even more of a stretch, but we have to try and make these interesting somehow. Back in the still golden days of March 2008, Arabtec were appointed by Shaikh Holdings (see Imran Shaikh, left) to construct Sanctuary Falls, a boutique villa development community in Jumeirah Golf Estates. The community comprised 96 resort-style villas, (whatever that means) overlooking the earth Golf Course, designed by Greg Norman. Well, we did tell you it was a stretch…
Greg Norman is a famous Australian golfer who was number one in the world for long stretches in the 80s and 90s. Here’s some bumf from his own site: “Greg Norman has earned more than $1 million five times on the U.S. PGA Tour, including three Arnold Palmer Awards as the Tour’s leading money winner — 1986, ’89 and ’94. He was also the first person in Tour history to surpass $10 million in career earnings. But his crowning achievements are British Open Championships in 1986 and 1993. In total, Norman has won 91 professional events around the world, including 20 U.S. PGA Tour titles.”
