Ok, back to being sensible. Hamad Abdullah Al Shamsi, is CEO of, among other companies, International Capital Trading. That firm awarded the contract to build the Nation Towers in Abu Dhabi to a joint venture between Arabtec and National Projects and Construction. As he announced the contract Al Shamsi praised Arabtec’s local knowledge and international experience.

Al Shamsi is also CEO of Private Investment Company and a director of Abraaj Capital (which we think makes him Kipp’s boss. Better watch ourselves…). He’s got an MBA with a major in Finance and Banking, and is on the board of a number of other companies, including Al Qudra Holding and Essdar Capital.
