Network of… Shilpa Shetty

She’s rumoured to be the Burj Khalifa’s latest resident, thanks to her millionaire husband. Perhaps some of her network of movie stars and business tycoons will be dropping by.

Billionaire Vijay Mallya hosted Shetty at the Singapore Grand Prix, where the pair cheered on Mallya’s Force India Formula One team. But apparently she was the guest of both Mallya and Formula One head honcho Bernie Eccleston.
“I cheered for Force India. Fast cars and bikes have been my passion and there was no way I could have given this invitation a miss. It’s the first time ever that we got to see Grand Prix in the night,” said Shilpa.
Mallya is a big time businessman, having established himself as a giant in the world drinks industry. He’s the chairman of United Breweries Group, as well as heading up the airline Kingfisher Airlines. As well as controlling the F1 team, he has an Indian Premier League cricket team (the Bangalore Royal Challengers) and is an Indian MP.
