Qatar’s Sheikha Mozah has a long resume of civic involvement that has earned her international acclaim for her work on behalf of education, medical research, youth employment, and democratization.
Last year, the Sheikha joined Queen Rania and a host of first ladies and prominent figures to appeal for an immediate ceasefire to a deteriorating Gaza situation – in which thousands were left without electricity, clean water, or access to medical care.
