Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Sultan has left Morocco where he has been staying since August, two Moroccan official sources told Reuters on Sunday.
“He left Agadir in his own private plane. He ended his convalescence. There is nothing special about his return,” said one of the officials, who did not want to be identified.
Saudi state media had said earlier Crown Prince Sultan would be returning to Saudi Arabia. Western diplomats said the prince was coming home to avoid a power vacuum after it was announced that King Abdullah would go to the United States for medical treatment.
