The GCC countries’ nuclear ambitions – and how to avert catastrophe – was on the agenda at the second International Conference on Nuclear Technologies in the Service of Regional Societies, held in Bahrain this week.
The two-day event brought together intellectuals, private sector industrial experts and government representatives, who also focused on investigating the unique risks posed by radioactive materials to Arab societies.
