When Bill Gates was in town two years ago he signed an agreement with Sheikh Ahmed to develop an ‘Innovation Lab” in Dubai. There can’t be many people in the world who don’t know the story of Bill Gates, the self-made billionaire from the US West coast. Whether you’re technical geek, business dreamer or just curious observer, you’ll find few stories to match that of the child genius (1590 out of 1600 on his SATs) who changed the world. With a net worth that can only be guessed at (Wikipedia says $53 billion), earlier this year Gates joined the Giving Pledge, a program set up by American billionaires to give away their wealth.
