Prince Charles and Sheikha Mozah attended the official opening of the Qur’anic Garden Exhibition at the Royal Botanic Gardens on April 8, 2010 in Surrey, England together. The prince, who is the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and is the heir apparent to the English throne, is infamous globally for his somewhat tumultuous marriage to his first wife, Princess Diana. In a saga that involved allegations of adultery, divorce and even an eating disorder, the story of that royal marriage can easily fit into the category of a scandal. Charles also took flak here in the Middle East when he interfered in Chelsea Barracks, a London property development involving the Qatari royal family.
