The Network of The Gulf Film Festival

Started in 2007, the Abu Dhabi Film Festival (known as the Middle East International Film Festival) is an annual film festival in Abu Dhabi managed by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH). The festival is known for its prestigious Black Pearl Award which is given to the best movie of the year – winner of this award include: Chicken with Plums, Ismaël Ferroukhi, Free Men, Woody Harrelson, Rampart and Jayashree Basavaraj, Lucky. The film festival will be taking place from 11, Oct to 20,Oct, 2012

Past editions have featured appearances from Sir Ben Kingsley, Uma Thurman, Adrian Brody, Eva Mendes, Orlando Bloom, Naomi Watts, and Tilda Swinton. Check out their website for more; http://www.abudhabifilmfestival.ae/
