Felix Baumgartner made headlines with his an unprecedented winged freefall across the English Channel. His beginnings as a sky diver started when he was first part of the Austrian military’s demonstration and competition team and soon after when he began performing skydiving exhibitions for Red Bull. Baumgartner has made world-record BASE jumps and has been nominated for a World Sports Award and two categories in the NEA Extreme Sports Awards.
