Will these new signs on the platform control the Dubai metro traveller's inner beast?

Time and time again, Kipp has whined about the rather special etiquette and behaviour reserved for public transport usage in Dubai.
It may be hard to define, but ‘might is right’ comes close to capturing the essence of all the shoving, pushing and toe-crunching characteristic of a typical journey on the metro.
The rather accepted practice of barging into the metro with a determined rigour without letting passenger disembark would have to be one of my personal favourites.
Though the senseless stampede has been something of an acceptable practice, it would seem the RTA is keen to change that. Stepping off the metro this evening at Khalid bin Waleed station , I was pleasantly surprised to see the following:
