Water park mocks climate change message
A UAE desert water park that claims to be a haven for displaced Arctic penguins is stirring controversy.

The UAE is now home to a huge ice-themed water park, where climate change has been spun into a plaything to make a buck. The Iceland park is built around the story of a bunch of penguins displaced by melting ice caps who find their way to the UAE. Critics say that the biggest concern is not only the park’s own carbon emissions (huge), but the wrong message it is sending to children.
And while tourists play there, world nations are meeting in Mexico to iron out a way to help reduce global carbon emissions.
