    Al Jazeera Network Releases Documentary DVDs to be Distributed Worldwide

    Doha, Qatar - January 21, 2010: Al Jazeera Network today announced that it is releasing a collection of documentary DVD series' on a range of social and political issues in the Arab world. This particular collection looks at an Arab perspective on Middle Eastern historical events and will be one of many collections to follow covering a wide spectrum of subjects. The two-part documentary series “Al Nakba” was produced by Al Jazeera's Arabic Channel. The documentary tells the story of the Palestinian Catastrophe (Al Nakba) starting from the 18th century to today. “Arab Christian”, a four-part series narrates the history and culture of Arab Christians and examines the effect of Arab society on the Christian message, Christian sects, the Islamic-Christian dialogue, and the rights of Arab Christians in their countries. “Street Stories” portrays the social, economic, political, historical and cultural links between a civilization and its people. All of these series are subtitled into French and English
