Four more years of Obama

President Barack Obama celebrated his victory by hugging his wife, but Kipp says they would have hugged either way.

Barack Obama has become the second Democratic candidate to win a second four-year presidential term since the World War II; having successfully accumulated more votes than his republican opponent Mitt Romney. “We’re all in this together. That’s how we campaigned, and that’s who we are,” tweeted the President. “This happened because of you. Thank You,” he continued.
The poll results of a few states including Florida and Virginia were yet to be declared but Obama had already accumulated 275 electoral votes, 5 more than the needed 270. The results were released by several networks including CNN and CBS shortly before 11:30 p.m. eastern time. For a presidential candidate to win, 270 votes must be gathered before the opponent.
A celebration erupted at Obama’s victory party as the first African-American president got the chance to run the Unites States for another four years. This victory brings to end months of ruthless campaigning, endorsements, hard-hitting debates and anxiety (at least for those who cared).
Oh and Obama tweeted this touching photo:
