Emaar is ‘upgrading’ its courtyard by replacing real grass with artificial turf.

Dubai and its euphemisms…you have to love them.
An article in Gulf News reports that residents in The Greens are protesting Emaar’s plans to ‘upgrade’ the courtyard by replacing real grass with artificial turf.
Kipp wants to understand how Emaar can describe replacing real grass with artificial turf as an ‘upgrade’. Why is it an upgrade?
As far as Kipp knows, the development is called The Greens, not The Artificial Greens or The Synthetic Greens.

You do not have to mantain Synthetic Lawn do you!? Emaar will call it an upgrade because they save money of having the property maintained… This saving will help them pay their Concrete Pumping bills.
