Broken record

Dubai does it again
November 2, 2008 2:46 by kippreport
I just got a press release from ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller stating that Dubai has set yet another Guinness record: the world’s largest Acrylic Panel. It measures 32.88 meters wide, 8.3 meters high and 750 mm thick, and it weighs 245,614 kg. The panel is at the Dubai Aquarium & Discovery Centre in The Dubai Mall.
For those of you who can’t wait for another mall to open in Dubai (although, to be fair, The Dubai Mall is an especially large one), do let us know your thoughts on Dubai’s latest record on November 4. Pictures will be appreciated.

We have another Dubai record in the pipeline. The longest sewage tanker queue in the world. Guinness better set up a local office to monitor all new records.
