Did you know…

… there’s something called Internet Ramadan?

Comments on Kipp have been a bit thinner than usual the last few days, and we were wondering whether we should take it personally.
Turns out that Internet usage is considered to be inappropriate during Ramadan by some people. The idea is to refrain from viewing and using unsuitable content.
In fact, there is also “Internet Ramadan,” which is observed for a month every year. According to followers, it’s not related to the actual Ramadan. During this period, adherents refrain from visiting the Web for any purpose. If necessary, they may make an early, pre-dawn visit. The Web-fast is broken after sunset.
Do you know more about this? Share your thoughts. After dusk, if you prefer.
