Approximately 1,000 people were arrested on Dubai’s beaches for being public nuisances since the beginning of 2009, reported Khaleej Times on Thursday, citing the director of Tourist Security Department.
Major Mohammed Rashid Al Muhairi said the police arrested 926 people for harassing beachgoers between 2pm and 5pm in the Jumeirah and Umm Sequim areas.
