A French filmmaker’s new $14 million environmental documentary has been released free on YouTube until June 14, but it’s hard to see in the UAE.

One of Kipp’s French colleagues recently asked us to watch the trailer of an environmental documentary called “Home,” produced by French filmmaker Luc Besson. And we were really impressed.
The movie, which was filmed from a helicopter, took nearly three years to complete, and was shot over 217 days in 54 countries, resulting in 488 hours of footage.
“Home” was released in 50 countries on June 5 to mark World Environment Day, and was also made available on YouTube. The video sharing site said on its blog that the event “marks the first time a global audience can watch a movie online, in movie theaters, on TV stations, and on outdoor screens around the world at the exact same time.”
Sadly, the movie cannot be seen on YouTube in the UAE, but you can find the trailer here.

I could watch the movie in HD after I read ur Blog…Its amazing in its coverage and though I do not agree with it 100%, It deserves the attention of all humans who care about tomorrow…I also have a fair idea (no rocket science here) why the movie is being blocked by someone…Constructive criticism hasnt been the forte of powers that be in ME…thankfully I’m travelling, so could watch/download it.
