It’s all mapped out for you

Remember those excuses you gave about not using the emirate’s public transport system, like it doesn’t cover most districts? Well, you can’t use that excuse anymore, because if you look at the Dubai’s public transport network on Google Maps, you’ll know that the RTA (Dubai Roads and Transport Authority) covers most of the emirate.
The RTA recently uploaded its network on Google Maps as part of its initiative to encourage potential users to use public transport. And by potential, they mean you, car-obsessed Dubaians.
Incidentally, the RTA’s decision to upload its network makes Dubai the first city/emirate in the Middle East and North Africa to make its public transport route available on Google Earth.
