It’s not a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow

As communication specialists, PR agencies are tasked with putting their clients in the best possible light. And their efforts can sometimes tickle unintentionally hit the funny bone.

So RAK Airways is announcing a winter seat sale. The company’s PR machine sent out a press release to announce this promotion and we’re sure it’ll be much received by those interested in travelling to Calicut, Cairo, Dhaka, Chittagong, Doha and Jeddah. With return ticket prices from just 500AED, whose interest wouldn’t be piqued?
But what really caught Kipp’s eye is the image that accompanied this announcement. Kipp is very happy to unveil that we can confirm that there is no pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Instead, what you’ll find is a RAK Airways airplane with parting messages: “Happy Flying” and “Small fares. Big Deals.”
We’re fairly certain this is not a photoshopped rainbow. In fact, we could prove it by asking you to train your eye on the shower of water that seems to be spewing from a gigantic hose that’s just almost out of view in the upper right hand corner. In this instance, we would recommend that some photoshopping be done to this image—at least to remove the timed ‘shower’ that reproduced the ingeniously quirky rainbow.
Of course the idea to create their own rainbow may come from extreme giddiness from the RAK Airways team, as the company is set to celebrate the first anniversary of its re-launch.
Bookings can be done online or through phone. Although we hardly think the rainbow be a rainbow at the time your board your flight—but that would be quite a sight.
This happy giddy photo reminds of HungryBear9562’s now famous encounter with a Double Rainbow. Here for your re-viewing pleasure.
