Finally, some good news for those who have recently lost their jobs in Dubai. No, sadly it’s not a job offer, but something that is bound to leave a good taste in your mouth…literally. The Arabian Park Hotel has just announced that from December 15 until January 15 2009, anyone who has lost their job due to the credit crunch can eat a free dinner at its Brasserie restaurant.
All you have to do is bring along your redundancy notice.
However, the press release also quotes the general manager Mark Lee as saying: “The only exception is real estate brokers, who will have to wash the dishes.”
We are not sure if it’s a joke. If you do visit, let us know.
