In the middle of summer, Abu Dhabi is going to be a part of pop history as Flash Entertainment hosts Madonna’s latest world tour in the capital on June 3.
Tickets go on sale on Monday February 27 and no doubt the 22,000 tickets that will be made available will be hotter than hotcakes.
Speaking to the organiser’s representatives, weekend packages will be available but are still being finalised. Etihad is also preparing concert packages for those coming in from abroad. These will be announced in the coming weeks.
It’ll be interesting to see how the Yas Arena, an outdoor venue, will handle a massive crowd that will undoubtedly be packed and sweating to the brim. We can hardly wait for the sticky sweaty rubdown. *grimace here*
Tickets start from 350AED, although the different ticket tiers (VIP, etc) are yet to be finalised.
Madonna has started 2012 with a bang, after having recently released a single from her latest album, MDNA, and then performing at the SuperBowl XLVI Halftime Show to days after the single launch.
Check out her SuperBowl performance here.
So are you gearing up for what Abu Dhabi’s Flash Entertainment touts as the concert of the decade? Yay or Nay. Hit us up on comments below.
