A Japanese man, who reportedly fell in love with his virtual girlfriend named Nene Anegasaki, has married his ‘partner’ , MyFoxDFW.com reported.
The man, who calls himself SAL9000, took his Nintendo DS (because the girl doesn’t exist) to Guam for the legal ceremony and honeymoon. He reportedly took pictures of himself on honeymoon with his bride.
He plans on holding a public reception in Tokyo this weekend, and to broadcast the ceremony live on the Internet on Nico Nico Douga.
SAL9000 met Anegasaki on Love Plus, a video game that encourages virtual relationships. Players are required to keep their partners satisfied, otherwise they lose the game.
