Unzipped

A British man has been charged with indecent exposure.
July 1, 2009 4:20 by Dana El Baltaji
A British man failed to show up in court on Tuesday to faces charges of indecent exposure, reports Gulf News. The 37-year-old advertising executive was arrested after he allegedly unzipped his trousers and flashed his equipment to a 45-year-old Lebanese woman.
The man doesn’t remember a thing: ”I consumed 12 cups of vodka in Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi and I don’t recall unzipping my trousers and exposing myself to the woman,” he said in a statement to the police.
The woman’s version of the story is very different, and infinitely funnier:
“I was returning home from Jumeirah’s boardwalk. I spotted the suspect hugging the wall and flirting with it indecently as if it was a woman. I didn’t pay much attention to him because he seemed drunk.
“While I waited for the elevator, the suspect walked towards me with his zipper open and his private parts exposed. He cursed me, Dubai and Muslims. He asked me to go into the entrance with him, but I refused. I rushed away and called the building’s guard.”
To be honest, we were having a slow summer. We were hoping for some scandalous stories, and Dubai gave us nothing but business related arrests. But this week, Dubai delivered.
Thank you.
