Insurance is purchased only when compulsory

How is the head of Opec connected to the man who knocked the head off a mummy? And where does Brazil’s most famous footballer fit in?

December 23, 2009 4:25 by

Brendan Fraser

The Canadian-American actor is most famous for his roles as a mummy-bashing explorer in the Mummy film series, an ape-raised, tree-swinging man in George of the Jungle and as a Canadian Mountie in Dudley Do-Right.

Fraser, who travelled across the US, Canada and Europe in his childhood because of his father’s job, attended his first professional theatrical performance in London’s West End. He began acting at Toronto’s Upper Canada College and his first venture into the movies came with Dogfight in 2001.

He has starred in many major Hollywood films since then including Crash, Looney Tunes: Back in Action, and Journey to the Center of the Earth.
