Kevin Havelock joined Unilever, one of the world’s largest consumer products companies, in 1985, and in 2000, he was appointed as the chairman of Unilever Arabia. In 2004, he was named the chairman of Unilever Foods UK and two years later, was made Unilever’s US president, a post he continues to hold.
Unilever and Al Gurg Group forged a regional alliance to become Al Gurg Lever in 1997, the only distrubitor for a range of Unilever including Lipton, Comfort, Lux, Sunsilk, Close-Up, Dove and Fair & Lovely. The company distributes the consumer products throughout Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
