The CEO of Dubai Maritime City (DMC), he was earlier the PR director at Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation. He began his career as the manager of promotions and exhibitions at Dubai Ports Authority in 1999.
A member of the Dubai World Group of companies, DMC is considered one of the biggest master planned maritime development projects in the world. When completed, it will house an industrial area, commercial towers, a research and education facility, a marina, hotels, retail and residential.
A member of the International PR Association and GCC Advertising Association, Ali has also held senior positions in Jebel Ali Real Estate and DP World.
