As the semi finals saw Manmohan Singh and Yusuf Raza Gilani watch the match sitting next to each other, Kipp did see the whole orchestrated scene as a perfect image for India-Pakistan diplomacy. And while many speculate just how effective “cricket diplomacy” might be for the two neighbours, here is what the Economist thinks.
