For the whole of the month of May Kipp will be featuring a special report on mobile technology: so this week we bring to you the Best of the Web on mobile technology.

Keyboard Dock Turns iPhone Into Computer Touchpad

Kipp doesn’t have an iPhone but we are rather fascinated by this keyboard. Rightfully called the Wow-Keys full-sized keyboard, this keyboard can act as input device for your Mac or PC: but it can also work the other way round as an input device for an iPhone or iPod touch. What is more, the keyboard not only charges your phone but also syncs it with iTunes at the same time. Pretty cool, huh?

Google Faces $50 Million Lawsuit Over Android Location Tracking

Speaking of iPhones, do you remember the huge hoo-ha about iPhone’s geolocation tracking and storage set up last week? Well, now it isn’t just Apple who is come under fire but so too cyber-giant Google which is facing a class action lawsuit filed in Detroit.

Apple Will Become A Trillion-Dollar Company, Says Altucher — $1,000 a Share

Kipp’s yet to see what will become of the class-action suit filed against Apple but judging by what some investors say about the company, we’re quite certain it isn’t going to affect Apple too badly. Take for instance the words of investor Altucher, who said in this video, he believes Apple will eventually be worth more than $1 trillion (Dh3.64 trillion), maybe even double or triple that amount—although Apple is currently worth about $320 billion.

HP Veer, Smartphones’ Runt, Goes to AT&T on May 15

So, what does a smartphone that costs only Dh360 [$99] sound like to you? If you think it sounds like a good deal, than you’d be happy to know that HP’s Veer 4G, “a diminutive smartphone” is all set to be released on AT&T in under a week. Though be warned, the little smart phone doesn’t really come with impressive speculations: what with an 800 MHz processor, 8 GB of storage and only five hours of talk time.

Two Minute Video: Top 10 Gmail Extras

Kipp knows this isn’t quite the area of phone technologies, but we did find this selection of the best of Gmail Labs as pretty useful. Gmail Labs, if you didn’t know [Kipp didn’t either] is a “testing ground for experimental features that aren’t quite ready for primetime. They may change, break or disappear at any time.” Sounds eerie but some of them are rather useful especially gmail-goggles that requires you to do more complicated arithmetic for the inebriated ones.
